Salma Pena is the Back Office Lead at our Northlake location, where she plays a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day back office clinical operations. A proud Texas native, Salma received her training at Weatherford College and has developed a strong foundation in medical assisting. Her responsibilities include triaging patients, gathering vital information, and maintaining essential supplies to keep the clinic prepared and efficient.  

Salma thrives in the fast-paced environment of urgent care and enjoys being part of a team that addresses life’s smaller health hiccups, like strep throat or the flu. She finds fulfillment in interacting with patients and contributing to their care in meaningful ways, helping to create a seamless and supportive experience.  

Outside of work, Salma enjoys shopping and spending quality time with her family. One of her proudest accomplishments has been her personal and professional growth while working in urgent care, including enhancing her clinical skills and building strong connections with those she meets.
